We've got two videos for you today. The first is of the new piglets. We turned Geez and Myfoot's litters out of their arks. The first day or two the piglets stay pretty close to home and real close to mom. After a week they'll be roaming all over, and then meeting late at night behind the arks to hatch schemes for their escape, well, the ones that haven't introduced their snouts to the electric fence yet! Here they are:
The second video is about how we plant large (3 inch) transplants in the plastic mulch. The plants are New England Pie pumpkin, and the seed had been treated, unbeknownst to me, and they're the only summer stuff really growing. My watermelons haven't even peeked through the potting soil yet. So, with my luck, we'll have pumpkins for the 4th of July and watermelon for Thanksgiving. Here' the video:
